16 Oct  2012 , members of Shenzhen standing committee and Head of United Front Work Department Mr. Zhang Siping and his party made an inspection visit to the office of GT at Futian District. GT's CEO Wade Lam briefed to them the 17 years development of GT in Shenzhen, which described the unremitting striving of GT in the field of mechatronics equipment. Mr. Zhang acknowledged GTs achievements, and praised GT's concentration on industrial development was great.
 
Mr. Zhang said, although the domestic and international market was in depression, Grand still able to maintain growth of more than of 20% indicating Grand has take advantage the development initiative. Furthermore, Mr. Zhang also encouraged Grand to achieve a new high, to reach 2 billion in sales and strengthen the status and influence domestic & foreign industry. GT CEO Mr., Wade Lam hoping to expand global market deeply on the basis of opportunities and platforms offered by government. Mr. Zhang acknowledged those suggestions and expressed would support the global market development with full strength. The Party included Mr. Yin Xiaoman, Vice Minister of United Front Work Department, Mr. Li Jiafan, Deputy Director of  Economic Office of United Front Work Department and Mr. Zhou Lang, Investigator of Confederation of Trade Unions also attended the inspection.
