On 25^t September 2013，International Organization, Shenzhen Human Environment Committee, the UN Global Compact and 170 domestic and foreign suppliers of more than 360 representatives including Grand Vice President Mr. Hu Zhigang and Senior Manager Mr. Xiao Gang attended Huawei Global Supplier Conference for sustainable development, with the Executive Vice President of Huawei Mr. Xu Zhijun presence in the conference and delivered his speech.
 
The meeting theme is “cooperation model for sustainable development, help enterprises to take off." Mr. Xu Zhijun pointed out that we advocate for the common development of the industrial chain, the upstream and downstream value chain partners to work together to build the business ecosystem of resource sharing, risk and profit sharing. Meanwhile, under the effective supervision and control of risks, go beyond compliance and customer-driven, search for valued opportunities, optimize business processes and to explore new business models, enhance the competitiveness of enterprises. We should focus on the value chain work more closely with customers, industry organizations, suppliers, government and non -governmental organizations, to achieve the win-win cooperation for sustainable development to create a comprehensive model.

Participants exchanged the latest sustainability and success stories. Under their own needs and leading customers such as Huawei, Grand has import ISO14001 as an opportunity to introduce the concept and idea of sustainable development work as early as 2006, but also achieved some results, such as green production, energy conservation and so on.  (JOY)
